You don’t want to give up too soon. Maybe your success is right around the corner. But you will never know if you give up now. 
Persistence truly is key if you want to reach your goals and fulfill your dreams.

If it matters to you, you hang in there

This is easier said than done when you just can’t see how you will ever get what you want.
You need to have a little faith. Maybe you’re not ready yet.

For most goals, it really is a step-by-step process and you can’t just rush through them.
So it’s possible that you want to be too far ahead in your process although you haven’t completed all the necessary steps yet…

As humans, we like things to move fast.
Especially since the internet and Social Media, instant gratification has become the new normal. 
Unfortunately, this makes us increasingly impatient as far as our goals are concerned.

If you don’t see any success right away, you may be tempted to think that maybe this isn’t for you.
That you don’t have what it takes. Keep in mind that great things still take time.

A friend of mine worked for a tour operator in a sports niche for a few months.
Her job seemed simple (convincing sport fans to book a vacation through them) and after a while she thought she could easily build her own business doing that. 

It didn’t work out. I’m quite sure that she underestimated the value of her former boss’s network.
He’d been in this business for decades and had a huge network. Of course it was incredibly easy to get (return) clients while working for him.
It’s crucial to have a network of people who trust you. And you can’t rush building this trust.

I believe that things happen at the right time, the way they are supposed to. A “No” can simply mean “not yet”.
So hang in there. If you have goals that set your soul on fire, you’ll get there. You put in the necessary effort and time. 

Don’t get discouraged because things are not moving fast enough.
