“Lack of direction, not lack of time is the problem. We all have 24-hour days” – Zig Ziglar
When you don’t know where you’re going, you’ll end up in a random place.
Intention and direction are crucial for your success.
You can waste so much time without even realizing it.
“The key is not to prioritize what’s on your schedule, but to schedule your priorities” – Stephen Covey
How can you manage your time?
To make the best use of the limited time you have each day, you need to get clear on where you want to go and which steps you need to take.
Write down your overall goal….
Then break it down into milestones that allow you to track your progress.
They are also a great opportunity to celebrate your intermediate wins along the way.
Now, what steps do you need to take to reach your first milestone?
Be as specific as possible so that you can easily check whether you’re on track or not.
Get clear on how much time you have to put in each day to work on your goals.
You have to decide what matters to you most and be diligent about it.
Then you have to consciously say “no” to everything that isn’t that.
“I don’t have time for…” simply means that it’s not a priority.
Make sure you set your priorities right and that you productively work on your goals before you get stuck with other stuff.
You don’t want to be wasting precious time and postpone your dreams, do you?
